The Role:As a Senior Software Developer with the Content Systems Development team, you will be responsible for developing & providing backend support across a variety of products within the Market Intelligence platform. Together, you will build scalable and robust solutions using AGILE development methodologies with a focus on high availability to end users.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver solutions within a multi-functional Agile team
  • Develop expertise in our proprietary enterprise software products
  • Set and maintain a level of excitement in using various technologies to develop, support, and iteratively deploy real enterprise level software
  • Achieve an understanding of customer environments and their use of the products
  • Build solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the customer's enterprise/global requirements

What we’re looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2-8 years of desktop application development experience with deep understanding of Design Patterns & Object oriented programming.
  • Hands on development experience using C#, .Net 4.0/4.5, WPF, Asp.net, SQL server. Strong OOP and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of cloud applications (contrainers, dockers etc.) and exposure to data ETL will be a plus.
  • Ability to resolve serious performance related issues through various techniques, including testing, debugging and profiling.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Possess a true “roll up the sleeves and get it done” working approach; demonstrated success as a problem solver, operating as a client-focused self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Responsibilities:
  • Your main responsibility will be to collect essential intelligence and data tracked by the Debt Capital department.
  • At a time, you will be monitoring and handling News Feedback ensuring all client feedback is responded to appropriately, entering and resolving all external error cases, as well as writing abstracts for regulatory filings like 8-Ks, registration statements, and non-timely filing notices.
  • Reviewing feedback on abstracts/tasks to minimize errors and help establish refined procedures and processes to improve accuracy falls under your job description as well. Keeping up-to-date in the knowledge of content sets and building industry knowledge is vital for career growth.
  • Responding to queries and requests from various client departments to collect data in a timely manner, updating maintaining and running reports to generate useful audits for your department and providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements related to the covered data all fall under your responsibilities.
  • Lastly, troubleshooting problems or issues and providing substantial feedback to co-workers and building. Also, maintaining relationships with contacts from other departments to actively track information on the covered content sets can take you far in this role.

Working Shift: This is a rotational shift job. You should be flexible working in all three shifts (morning, evening & night).

What We’re Looking For: In order to succeed, the individual should have:
  • In-depth understanding of financial concepts in all domains such as financial ratios, mergers & acquisitions, dividends, spin-offs, hedging, derivatives, financial documents/statements and financial reporting standards (IFRS & GAAP) etc.
