WWE Clash Of Champions 2020 Full Match Card Info

Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
– The gold rush is on, and it will be a family affair at WWE Clash of Champions when Roman Reigns defends the Universal Championship against his cousin, Jey Uso.
Uso initially questioned why Reigns aligned himself with Paul Heyman upon his return to WWE, but he soon found that Heyman close relationship with The Big Dog had its benefits. After Sheamus brutally assaulted Big E and slammed him through a car windshield, Reigns’ “special counsel” arranged for Uso to take his place in a Fatal 4-Way to determine his next challenger. In a thrilling main event battle on SmackDown, Jey bested King Corbin, The Celtic Warrior and Matt Riddle to earn the championship showdown with a man he grew up alongside.
Will The Big Dog wreck his cousin to retain his title, or will Jey Uso welcome Reigns to The Uso Penitentiary and put the Universal Title on lockdown? Find out at WWE Clash of Champions, streaming live Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network!

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton (Ambulance Match)
– Randy Orton is intent on demolishing his way to a 14th World Champion reign, but Drew McIntyre keeps stepping right back into his path.
McIntyre and Orton will meet in a WWE Title rematch at WWE Clash of Champions. The fighting champion vanquished The Viper at SummerSlam with an impressive tactical display against the self-anointed “Greatest Wrestler of All Time.” The loss didn’t sit well with The Legend Killer, who followed up with three sadistic kicks to the skull of McIntyre on the following Monday Night Raw. Despite suffering a hairline jaw fracture, McIntyre remains as motivated as ever to put an end to Orton’s reign of terror.
The 13-time World Champion earned the rematch at WWE Clash of Champions by emerging victorious from a Triple Threat Match against Keith Lee and Seth Rollins on Raw. Orton advanced through qualifying after Aleister Black took out his opponent Kevin Owens with an attack. The Viper then struck when opportunity opened in the red brand main event by stealing a pin of Rollins from the fingertips of Lee.
However, the match has been called into question after McIntyre gave Orton a taste of his own medicine, dropping The Apex Predator with three Claymores. Given the situation, McIntyre added a stipulation to this battle, turning it into an Ambulance Match, a battle where the only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent and load him into an ambulance. After McIntyre’s attack, Orton’s status for the battle is up in the air, leaving WWE officials scrambling to find a replacement in the event Orton can’t compete. Keith Lee was given the opportunity to earn that spot by defeating McIntyre, but RETRIBUTION brought their battle to a screeching halt.
Can McIntyre defend his title from The Viper’s latest attack? Or will Orton deliver an RKO-fueled title win out of nowhere? Will The Viper even be able to compete?
Don’t miss what is sure to be a thrilling WWE Championship bout at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, streaming on the award-winning WWE Network.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Nikki Cross
– Bayley is down one title and one best friend, as the SmackDown Women’s Champion welcomes the latest challenge from Nikki Cross at WWE Clash of Champions.
Thus far Bayley has batted back every one of Cross’ championship challenges, but now she’ll have to do it without Sasha Banks in her corner. After a loss to another frustrating loss to Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax, Bayley unleashed a heinous attack on The Boss that left Banks with a severe bone bruise in her knee and a compressed nerve in her neck. In the past, it was an assist from Banks that helped Bayley overcome Cross’ manic offensive at The Horror Show at WWE Clash Of Champions, but now the champion will go it alone.
Cross punched her ticket for the WWE Clash of Champions showdown by outlasting Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans and Tamina in a Fatal 4-Way Match on SmackDown. Bliss shocked her teammate with a Sister Abigail early in the match, but Cross rallied back for a crafty pin of Tamina.
Will Bayley be able to stand on her own? Or will Cross capitalize on a fresh opportunity for the title?
Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT C on the award-winning WWE Network to see SmackDown Women’s Championship battle.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. The Riott Squad
– The gold rush at WWE Clash of Champions will include the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, as Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler put their titles on the line against The Riott Squad.
Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan risked their partnership to earn the championship opportunity, defeating The IIconics in a match where winners earned a crack at the champions, and the losing team had to split up. The Riott Squad pulled off the win, setting the stage for their showdown with the champions.
Jax & Baszler’s seeming inability to get on the same page may be The Riott Squad’s key to victory at Clash of Champions. The titleholders’ bickering already cost Baszler a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against Riott & Morgan. Will they be able to get it together when the titles are on the line?
Find out at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network!

SmackDown Tag Team Champions Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro vs. Lucha House Party
– Lucha House Party has been trying to crash “The Champions Lounge” for some time, but Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro have continued to crush their title dreams. Now Lucha House Party will hope to finally grasp the SmackDown Tag Team Titles that have evaded them.
The return of Kalisto has caused friction within Lucha House Party as all three members have tried to carve out their new roles. Gran Metalik & Kalisto delivered the biggest win in the ongoing back-and-forth by defeating the champions with an assist from The Street Profits. After Kalisto & Lince Dorado were ejected from ringside, Cesaro capitalized with an emphatic victory over Gran Metalik in the most recent chapter of the rivalry.
Can Lucha House Party stay on the same page and dial up the volume with a title breakthrough? Or will The King of Strong Style & The Swiss Cyborg fight off yet another challenge?
Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT C on the award-winning WWE Network.

Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn – Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match
– The time for talk is over. Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Sami Zayn will all meet in the ring in an Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match to end the debate over who is the rightful titleholder.
The Charismatic Enigma authored an important chapter in his comeback journey when he defeated The Phenomenal One for the Intercontinental Title. Shortly after, Zayn made his return to the blue brand and told anyone who would listen that he was the true champion. In the ensuing weeks, matchups featuring all three competitors would lead to chaos as each Superstar tried to leave their mark on the gold. Finally, Hardy laid down the challenge on the blue brand and the showdown was confirmed on the following episode of Talking Smack.
Who will climb the ladder and cease all arguments surrounding the Intercontinental Title?
Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT C on the award-winning WWE Network.

Bobby Lashley vs. Apollo Crews – United States Championship Match
– Bobby Lashley will face a familiar foe in Apollo Crews, as The Hurt Business’ gold standard will look to defend the United States Championship at WWE Clash of Champions.
After the formation of The Hurt Business, Crews was a constant thorn in the side, as he held the coveted United States Title and stymied the faction’s grand plans at every turn. Then came WWE Payback, as The All Mighty overpowered Crews and forced the tapout with a devastating Full Nelson. Since that fateful night, Lashley and The Hurt Business have frustrated the challenger at every turn. Shelton Benjamin dished out a defeat in Raw Underground, and the addition of Cedric Alexander has tormented Crews in recent weeks. Crews took down Alexander in the most recent red brand showdown, but Lashley had another Hurt Lock waiting for his rival afterward.
Can Crews recapture his championship magic and regain the title? Or will Lashley and The Hurt Business crush Crews’ title hopes for good?
Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff Show, streaming Sunday at 6 ET/3 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Asuka vs. Zelina Vega – Raw Women’s Championship Match
– Zelina Vega is out to prove she’s more than just a business manager and will have a golden opportunity to back it up against Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.
Vega showed off her potential in a gritty win over Mickie James on Raw to earn the title showdown with Asuka on the WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff Show. The Empress of Tomorrow has ruled the red brand since recapturing the title from Sasha Banks at SummerSlam. Asuka shined in a win over a legendary competitor in James but will now face a challenge from an incredibly hungry Superstar in Vega.
Can Asuka continue her dominance on the red brand? Or will Vega show the WWE Universe what she is capable of by claiming the Raw Women’s Title?
Don’t miss the WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff Show at 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m.

The Street Profits vs. Andrade & Angel Garza – Raw Tag Team Championship Match
– The longest-reigning Raw Tag Team Champions will face a familiar challenge at WWE Clash of Champions, as The Street Profits will battle Andrade & Angel Garza for the titles.
Without the services of Zelina Vega as business manager, Andrade & Garza outlasted Dominik Mysterio & Humberto Carrillo and Seth Rollins & Murphy in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to earn another championship opportunity. Vega played an instrumental role in the challengers’ defeat at SummerSlam. When Andrade tended to their business manager after an accidental run-in with Montez Ford, The Street Profits capitalized and hit an impressive one-two combo on the vulnerable Garza.
Will the combustible duo of Andrade & Garza find title bliss in their life after Vega? Or will Ford & Dawkins continue to dominate the red brand?
Don’t miss WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff Show, streaming Sunday at 6 ET/3 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Roman Reigns set for in-ring interview ahead of WWE Clash of Champions

Two nights before The Bloodline goes to battle, Roman Reigns will share his side of the story on his relationship with Jey Uso before their Universal Title Match.
The cousins have teamed up for a pair of wins over Sheamus & King Corbin in recent weeks on the blue brand, but the possible rifts in the relationship have bubbled up. After last week’s Samoan Street Fight win, an icy staredown from The Big Dog followed what originally appeared to be a heartfelt celebration between Reigns and Uso.
With WWE Clash of Champions on the horizon, what will Reigns have to say before stepping into the ring with family?
Don’t miss Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 C to hear the latest from the Universal Champion

Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn to go head-to-head before WWE Clash of Champions

Before they share the ring with AJ Styles at WWE Clash of Champions, Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn will face off in a non-title match on Friday Night SmackDown.
Controversy continued to find Zayn last week on the blue brand, as The Great Liberator’s pin was called off due to him grasping Styles’ tights during the maneuver. The Phenomenal One capitalized on the distracted Zayn and secured a roll-up win of his own. The chaotic situation surrounding the Intercontinental Title continued, as The Charismatic Enigma then entered to attack both competitors and lay down a challenge for the pay-per-view event.
Who will leave the blue brand with the upper hand before the Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Winner Take All Ladder Match on Sunday?
Catch the showdown Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

Alexa Bliss to take on Lacey Evans after last week’s Sister Abigail attack

Alexa Bliss will battle Lacey Evans on Friday Night SmackDown following Bliss’ shocking Sister Abigail attack on The Sassy Southern Belle last week.
The Fiend continues to have some sort of hold over Bliss, as the energetic Superstar has snapped into a trance multiple times in recent weeks. After falling to Nikki Cross, Evans uttered The Fiend’s name, and Bliss once again fell into a hypnosis-like state before dishing out the Sister Abigail.
Will Bliss be able to stay focused on the match? Or will a stronger force pull her in another direction?
Catch the bout between Bliss and Evans on Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 C

* Jake Atlas looks for payback in rematch with Tommaso Ciampa

* First-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match to decide Finn Bálor’s first challenger
* More Unannounced cards.

Jake Atlas looks for payback in rematch with Tommaso Ciampa

Tommaso Ciampa struck down Jake Atlas as the first victim of his resurgent sadism, but he failed to put Atlas on the shelf is good. Now Atlas will be out for payback in a rematch.
After a nearly three-month absence, Ciampa returned to the black-and-gold brand last month, defeating Atlas and committing a savage assault afterward, including a Willow’s Bell DDT from a stretcher to put Atlas on the NXT Injury Report.
The Blackheart appears to have rediscovered the same vicious side that helped him win the NXT Championship, which is likely bad news for the rest of the roster. Atlas learned that lesson again last week when he was ambushed in the parking lot after confronting Ciampa earlier in the evening.
Fortunately for Atlas, Kyle O’Reilly stepped in before the attack escalated. But will Atlas be able to fight off the vicious Blackheart when they step in the ring again?

Battle Royal to determine No. 1 Contender to Io Shirai’s NXT Women’s Championship

The next Superstar to step to Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Title will have to earn their opportunity in a massive Battle Royal this Wednesday on NXT’s Take Off to TakeOver.
As the only former champion in the field, Rhea Ripley has to be considered a strong favorite, especially after toppling Mercedes Martinez in a brutal Steel Cage Match earlier this month. Can The Nightmare take the next step toward recapturing the gold she lost earlier this year?
Dakota Kai came up short in her quest to dethrone Shirai last month at NXT TakeOver XXX, but The Captain of Team Kick is still dead set on becoming champion. Plus, Kai’s enforcer Raquel González is also in the bout, and we’ve seen that “Big Mami Cool” is anything but shy about inflicting pain on Kai’s behalf.
The Battle Royal will also play host to former friends Candice LeRae and Tegan Nox, whose long-simmering issue has intensified in recent weeks after Nox’s tense visit to The Gargano household. Will LeRae and Nox be able to focus on the task at hand, given their increasingly bitter rivalry?
Additionally, the up-and-coming Shotzi Blackheart impressed in going toe-to-toe with Shirai this past week. Can Blackheart bounce back to earn another chance at bringing the NXT Women’s Title to the ball pit?
But with the field also including promising upstarts such as The Robert Stone Brand’s Aliyah, Kayden Carter, Kacy Catanzaro, Xia Li and Indi Hartwell, might an underdog be able to pull off a stunner for the right to challenge challenge Shirai?
Tune in to NXT at 8/7 C Wednesday night to find out who will get an opportunity to compete for the NXT Women’s Championship!

First-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match to decide Finn Bálor’s first challenger

Who will get the first chance to challenge The Prince? The answer to that question will be decided in the first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match next Wednesday in the Takeoff to TakeOver on NXT.
Kushida, Cameron Grimes, Kyle O’Reilly, Timothy Thatcher and Bronson Reed will battle in this unique bout with the rules as follows:
Two men will start in the ring.
Every four minutes, another competitor will enter.
The only way to be eliminated is via pinfall or submission.
The last man standing will be named the No. 1 Contender and challenge Finn Bálor for the NXT Title at the next edition of NXT TakeOver on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Which Superstar will emerge victorious and earn an opportunity at the NXT Championship?
Stay tuned to WWE’s digital and social platforms in the coming days as the rest of the field is revealed.
